We are seeking to appoint to a new academic post, to strengthen and continue to grow our research and education in Space Engineering. This is a hugely exciting time to be joining our community of aerospace engineers. These roles are a strategic investment to grow our research-intensive educational programmes in Aerospace Engineering, in particular a new MSc in Space Engineering. The space sector is in a period of transformative growth and change. This role will be a key part of developing our space activities in line with the University’s core mission of world class research and outstanding global education that establishes us as one of the world’s top 50 universities within the next decade. The appointment is an opportunity either for applicants with an established, sustained track record of excellence in research and education (with a commensurate developing international profile and evidence of funding success and excellent outputs) or for those at an earlier career stage. In the case of the latter, we are seeking a new colleague with exciting, innovative ideas having the potential to develop their academic career in a supportive, collaborative and growing community.
