This is a new role in a new department which will provide expert professional support for research and knowledge exchange, partnerships, impact, regional engagement and innovation. You will be a senior leader in the University community, with great access to support and development for your own career and the expectation that you will become involved in the wider organisation.
You will work closely with, and be a key source of advice and support to, senior academic leaders at Vice-President and deputy Vice-President level and will work closely with Faculty and Professional Services leadership.
You will lead within your teams and beyond to deliver the strategic objectives set out in the University’s Vision, with responsibility for developing your people and teams, for planning and organising significant resources, for monitoring and evaluating individual, team and organisational performance and for continuous improvement. You will build networks within the organisation and externally.
