Scholars School System is a project of UK CURRICULUM & ACCREDITATION BODY (UKCAB, a registered charity founded in 2006) is looking for a Health and Social Care Lecturer with HE experiences for the Birmingham and Bradford Branches.

Scholars School System is a national independent higher education provider, offering world class education. Taught programmes delivered in partnership with Leeds Trinity University and Central Bedfordshire College and courses ranges from Foundation Year, Higher Nationals to Undergraduate Degrees. Over 5000 (UK and EU) learners have successfully completed their journey in last five years and student population for this current academic year is around 1500.

Reports to: Course Leader/ Director of Academics.

Job Purpose:

As a result of a recent success and growth we are looking to appoint lecturers in health and social care faculty. Scholars School System, Birmingham campus is based in city-centre and successful candidates will work with our staff to ensure an excellent student experience through the use of relevant and inspiring learning, teaching and assessment methods.

Ideally you will combine industry and teaching experience at undergraduate, postgraduate and/or professional level. The required qualification for these roles will be PHD.

In your application, please identify your subject specialism as this will assist in identifying suitable candidates as teaching opportunities become available.

As part of your application, please ensure you upload a CV and Cover Letter. Classes typically run between 10am and 4pm Monday to Thursday although some classes can be on the Friday.

Experience & Position:

The appointed candidate will have a PHD in Health & Social Care or related subject

  • Fellowship in FHCA Status (Highly Desirable)
  • Enthusiasm for delivering a high-quality education experience
  • A record of leading a successful programme development thought leadership in educational pedagogy.
  • Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback.
