Would you like to develop your academic career, contributing to teaching on the Post Graduate Diploma in Psychological Intervention (CBT) at the University of Surrey? This position would provide the successful candidate with an excellent opportunity to continue their clinical work whilst also helping to develop the knowledge & skills of trainee Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapists.  

The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of lectures, developing & marking academic and clinical assignments & more generally supporting the trainees in their development.  Other responsibilities will include being a professional tutor, trainee recruitment, service liaison and mid-way review visits. For the right applicant there could be further leadership opportunities.

We welcome applications from Cognitive behavioural therapists, Clinical or Counselling psychologists who are accredited with the BABCP as a Cognitive Behavioural practitioner and have experience of supervising. Experience of working in IAPT is desirable. The successful candidate will demonstrate themselves to be an empathic, motivated, creative & energetic individual who is able to act on their own initiative.  We would particularly welcome applications from individuals who identify as being from marginalised groups.
