We are embarking upon the next phase of development of our White City campus and you will provide crucial leadership in this development.

You will be responsible for shaping the programme of work across campus development, community engagement, campus operations, innovation and enterprise, research services, education delivery and change management to ensure that the White City programme achieves the planned benefits is delivered to time and budget. To achieve this, you need to build strong and credible relationships with academic and professional services staff across College to understand how best to deliver change initiatives that will underpin the realisation of the White City Campus vision.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Define, tailor, and implement project, operational improvement and change management methods and tools, across the lifecycle, in support of the White City Programme Board’s objectives.
  • Working with project teams, ensure outputs or services from the projects meet requirements to the required quality on time and within budget.
  • Working with project managers and sponsors to manage and resolve risks and issues as they arise ensuring appropriate controls are in place for the effective mitigation and management of risks and issues.
  • Develop positive relationships with key collaborators across the organisation, building trust, promoting active engagement to safeguard the successful delivery of outcomes and benefits.

Essential requirements

  • Demonstrable Programme Management, change, transition, and transformation experience in a complex service environment
  • Proven ability to develop programme of change within complex environment.
  • Demonstrable experience of establishing and managing portfolio and or programme management offices.
  • Ability to deal tactfully and effectively in “political environments” using influence
  • Ability to manage a cross organisation governance model.
  • Implementing industry standard portfolio and programme methodologies, whilst tailoring to meet the needs of the local environment
  • A proven experience of working in complex multi-million-pound programme teams
  • Recognised Project, Programme or Change Management qualification.
