School of Humanities and Social Science invites applications and nominations for Open Rank Faculty Position in Information Technology (Ref. AC2023/024/01).
Associate Professor (Teaching)/Assistant Professor (Teaching)/Lecturer (Teaching-stream)
The appointee is expected to teach and design Information Technology-related general education courses at first. After that, the appointee may be required to teach language and social science-related technology courses. The appointee is also expected to collaborate with other colleagues in teaching. The appointee is expected to commence work in AY2023-24.
Applicants should have:
a) a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Management or equivalent;
b) proven record of teaching experience at tertiary level;
c) strong interest in inter-disciplinary teaching;
d) strong interest in curriculum design;
e) experience in online teaching pedagogies is an added advantage;
f) a good command of English.
Salary & Benefits
Salary will be competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made under the establishment of CUHK, Shenzhen and statutory benefits will be provided according to the prevailing labor laws applicable in the People’s Republic of China. The appointee will be based at the University campus in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China.
