About You and the Role
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Software Developer in Computer Vision to work in Partnership with Allsee and Nottingham Trent University (NTU) as part of a collaborative project.
The role requires competence in programming, collaboration with stakeholder and digital artists, technical evaluation of the System including AI ethics, In-field testing and knowledge dissemination. This project provides a unique opportunity to simultaneously develop both your academic and industry experience, whilst also delivering real business impact.
The candidate will have solid knowledge and experience of Software engineering or intelligent buildings engineering including AI image classification, and smart building digital twin Engineering Solutions. Full-stack computer programming skills, programming languages skills using Python, C or Java. The candidate should also have a strong appetite for research, scientific inquiry, critical thinking and innovation. Excellent project management, time management and organisation skills are also essential for this post.
You will have at minimum an Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related field e.g: Engineering, Maths, Physics, Statistics, AI or Data science.
The role is part of a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) funded jointly by Innovate UK and Allsee Technologies. As a KTP Associate, you’ll work with the academic team and colleagues across Natgraph to embed knowledge and initiatives. The position will offer the ideal opportunity to apply your knowledge and experience in order to springboard your career.
