Duties of the Role
The University of Essex is seeking a Cloud Services Specialist to join the Directory and Cloud Services team in the Infrastructure Services group.
The post holder will be responsible for the operation and administration of all Cloud Services infrastructure technologies for the University, providing critical services for more than 35,000 customers.
The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring email security and delivery, cloud storage management encompassing the management, maintenance, and improvements on a variety of platforms.
You will work as a member of the IT Infrastructure systems group, working collaboratively with customers, support staff and management to deliver, develop and maintain the Microsoft 365, Azure, email security and cloud storage services. Additional aspects of the role include managing MFA, identity protection and contributing to technical project streams.

The role is based on our Colchester campus and will need to be flexible and able to work out of hours if required. Periodic travel to the other campuses in Southend and Loughton will be required. We welcome flexible working arrangements.
