The University of Warwick launched its Innovation Strategy in January 2020. Inherent within this is the aim that every student will have an opportunity to engage with innovation as part of their Warwick learning experience by 2025. Warwick Enterprise is now seeking an enthusiastic academic developer to work with us to fulfil this mission and contribute to teaching and learning excellence across the institution.
You will be passionate about enterprise education and the potential of the incoming Knowledge Exchange and Global Impact agenda to develop students’ innovation capabilities. You will have a track record of supporting peers and other academic colleagues evolve their teaching, learning and assessment practices to stimulate student engagement with innovation within their own discipline or as part of trans-disciplinary groups. Connected to this you will work with other core university functions to align Innovation Group activities within other institutional improvement initiatives that relate to the Warwick curriculum and the broader student experience.
As an advocate for students as co-designers within the learning process, you will manage and develop a small team of hourly paid Innovation Fellows (current students passionate about innovation and entrepreneurship in all its forms). Your leadership will ensure the student voice continues to be an integral part of how Warwick Enterprise evolves its offer to meet and exceed expectations, and positive outcomes for students and graduates.
You will be motivated to work as part of a small team to pioneer approaches within this exciting new agenda. You will be committed to the higher education sector and be able to demonstrate a creative approach to new challenges and opportunities as they arise.
