An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Gas Engineer to join the Campus Infrastructure team at the University of Bath, the Times University of the Year 2023!
About the role:
The role is to undertake both planned and reactive maintenance with a primary focus on gas safety, but will also include repair tasks across the range of plumbing building services to include hot and cold-water systems, sanitary ware, internal plumbing and drainage services across the University estate. You will also undertake some low-level electrical work and be expected to take part in the on-call rota.
The successful applicant will be encouraged and supported to develop a wider knowledge of building services mechanical and electrical systems.
This is a full time, permanent position at 36.5 hours per week, to be worked Monday to Thursday 08:15hrs to 16:45hrs; Friday 08:15hrs to 15:45hrs. To suit operational requirements you may be requested to work flexibly at any time between 7am and 7pm.

About you:
The successful candidate will join the Workshop team, dedicated to maintaining the upkeep of the University's buildings. The work is mostly on the campus and occasionally in the city.
