The Humanities Division are seeking a research impact expert to help steer the division’s approach to impact. The postholder will work with colleagues from across the Division including in Faculties, Research Support, The Oxford Research Centre for Humanities (TORCH) and the Humanities Cultural Programme (HCP). You will play a significant role, working with the Associate Head, Research and Innovation, to further develop the division’s Research & Innovation Strategy. Working with the Head of Research Support this will be a key role for the Division in preparing for the next REF.
Key areas of responsibilities include:
• Development of a cross divisional team to train, promote and embed impact and engagement across the Division and
faculties
• Skilled in different methods of generating and articulating research impact as well as the impact of broader engagement
and partnership activities
• Design and implement evaluation of activities to monitor, assess and ensure success
• Securing further funding to support the development of impact, engagement and research activities
• Providing leadership, motivation and team development
• Decision making and implementation of strategic approaches and processes
• Liaison and networking across a wide range of teams across the University
• Liaise with and play an active role within external groups to explore collaboration opportunities and leverage expertise
• Planning and organisation of resources

The successful candidate will be an experienced leader/manager and will be confident in managing and supporting change. You will have strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
