The School of Leadership Management and Marketing is a key component of the Leicester Castle business School, offers a wide range of distinctive undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Our rapidly growing academic community delivers an outstanding learning experience to students and has an active research community. The marketing academic teaching team currently consists of 33 full-time members of staff and offers a range of courses that are focused on embedding key theoretical principles, the latest industry practice, and offering our students a global perspective that will enhance their employability potential.

Role
We are currently seeking to appoint a full-time Senior Lecturer in Marketing (Marketing Analysis and Strategy & E-Marketing, Introduction to Marketing). We are particularly looking for research active candidates who can teach subjects relating to Consumer Culture and Behaviour, Marketing Analysis & Strategy, Fundamentals of Advertising & Communication. The position offers teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and enables a research active candidate a key role in framing the Marketing subject areas’ ambition for research informed teaching, curriculum development and module leadership. The role is focused on research, PhD supervision, teaching, project supervision and related administrative duties, and we are interested in applicants from research active candidates with contemporary academic practice and experience.

Ideal Candidate
You must be research active with a track record of teaching in Marketing subjects in Higher Education and be able to demonstrate the skills and experience to design and deliver effective and engaging teaching and learning experiences.
You should be innovative in your approach to teaching and be able to demonstrate experience of engaging students in seminars and maintaining a high level of interest and attendance.
