The opportunity

As Loan Store Support Technician, you will be part of the busy College Loan Store team issuing photographic, video, audio-visual and related equipment to students and staff. You should be able to recognise the appropriate equipment for students’ needs and offer advice as necessary. You will also be jointly responsible for the storage and maintenance of loan store equipment and will support and back up for the loan store supervisor.

You will not only bring key skills with you but will have the opportunity to develop new skills and experience across a wide range of technical workshops.

About you

We are looking for a self-motivated, well organised person, who is able to remain calm under pressure. You will be familiar with the operation of photographic, video and audio equipment and you will ideally have experience working in front line service delivery, customer service and working effectively as part of a team. A first degree in an audio-visual related field or in art and design is desirable and it would also be advantageous if you were technically minded with a facility to learn new software to keep up to date with equipment.
