Murray Edwards College seeks to appoint a College Teaching Officer in Economics. The post will be tenable from no later than 1 September 2023 for a fixed period of three years and will be 50% full time equivalent. Remuneration will be at Point 47 on the University of Cambridge’s salary scale (currently £20,466 pro rata). The successful candidate will be elected to an Official Fellowship of the College. The post will be fully pensionable.
Applications are encouraged from candidates specialising in any field of economics, but the post-holder must be able to teach two or more undergraduate papers in microeconomics, macroeconomics or econometrics of the Economics Tripos. The post-holder will deliver six hours of small-group teaching (‘supervisions’) for the twenty teaching weeks of the academic year. They will also serve as Director of Studies, for which they will be separately remunerated.
