In this rapidly changing environment, the post holder will be responsible for day-to-day management of parking activities including welcoming guests, coordinating event parking, assisting with wayfinding, and providing an exemplary first impression to all external visitors. This role sits within the travel and transport team working as part of the wider sustainability team and as such there will be additional duties required to support team objectives. These include monitoring of car park activities and user levels for data purposes, issuing parking charge notices to non-permit holders, assisting with cycle tagging and removals and other general travel related activities.
You will have experience of providing exceptional frontline customer care and be committed to delivering service excellence. You will have an ability to stay calm and professional under pressure and be able to work on your own initiative whilst supporting larger team objectives.
The post holder will support the Travel and Transport team in delivering the BU Travel Plan 2019-2025 whilst managing day to day parking operations across two campuses.
This position does not meet the eligibility requirements for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Route within the UK Visa and Immigration service’s Points Based System. Therefore, BU will not be able to sponsor individuals who require permission to work to carry out this position.
