The Faculty of Science and Technology has an established reputation with a strong educational and research-oriented focus on STEM related subjects, as part of which, the Department of Computing & Informatics is offering a number of successful undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in computing, as well as related research work.
As a Demonstrator in Computer Science, you will be able to demonstrate technical skills across the range of units within our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. You must be enthusiastic about student-centred pedagogy, and willing to make a significant and impactful contribution to the delivery of the programmes involved.
You will be qualified to Degree/Master’s level or be able to demonstrate the ability to create and disseminate knowledge at an equivalent level. You will be committed to a culture of academic excellence and continuous improvement.
Applications are welcome from those with particular expertise in the areas of data science, app development, HCI and cyber security. Prior experience in HE teaching delivery and funded project development work would be very useful too. Programming / data science knowledge would be advantageous, as would any relevant industry experience.
