Centre for Business Prosperity at Aston University, located in the heart of Birmingham - England’s second largest city - seeks to appoint a highly motivated and talented researcher with the ability and interest in providing excellence in research and impact in the field of International Business Economics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in economics or international business (using quantitative methods), excellent analytical and quantitative skills, a track record of producing high-quality research and excellent written and oral communication skills in English. This is a full-time position.
Centre for Business Prosperity (CBP) is a Centre for Global Strategy. It has been actively producing excellent research and insights on global strategies of firms, regions and nations since 2018, in particular on issues related to UK trade and productivity, investment and globalisation. The purpose of CBP is to inform and influence decision-making of policymaking and businesses in forming and reforming global strategies in the age of disruptions. We ask critical questions about the global strategies of the economy, industries, regions, and businesses, and seek answers with independent, rigorous, and timely research. We do research in partnership with our stakeholders to create value and impact through our evidence-based insights and thought leadership.
