Job description
The Senior Programme Officer for the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy) will have specific responsibility for the operational management of the new accredited pathways with the BABCP and AFT and supporting the Programme Manager in aspects of Programme delivery.
The role requires a significant degree of autonomous working – with the individual being responsible for planning and organising their own work, alongside that of at least one Programme officer for whom they will provide line management. The post holder will be responsible for adjusting policies and procedures for Programme delivery as requirements change within their work responsibilities.
They will offer high-quality administrative support and guidance to the Programme Team and students, developing and maintaining systems to ensure the smooth running of administrative processes and an outstanding student experience throughout the student lifecycle. A key focus of the role will be supporting HR processes related to student employment with the local NHS Foundation Trust and supporting the ongoing improvements related to Culture, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (CED&I) via close working relationships with the Programme CED&I leads and relevant stakeholders.
The post holder will be required to assist the Programme Manager monitor and review service delivery on a continual basis, address contemporaneous and medium-term issues and resolve longer term issues with relevant colleagues.
The Senior Programme Officer is responsible to the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology Programme Manager and will be expected to deputise for them as and when required.
This post will be offered on an indefinite contract
