We have an exciting opportunity for a new Director in FE in our areas of English Maths and ESOL based at our Doncaster and Scunthorpe campus.
The post holder will provide strategic leadership and direction for academic staff, developing a culture of high aspirations and standards where students are supported and challenged to achieve their full potential and progress. You will ensure that the curriculum is responsive and highly relevant to the needs of both students and the wider community and that this is underpinned by outstanding teaching, learning and assessment.
You will provide leadership and management of the College’s ESOL, Maths and English curriculum, ensuring that the curriculum offer is dynamic, high quality, coherent, relevant and balanced, providing students with suitable progression opportunities.
You will provide advice and guidance within the designated areas of responsibility to other members of the Senior Leadership Team and to work with senior colleagues and cross college teams to ensure corporate goals are achieved.
We are looking for someone with a relevant degree of equivalent or PGCE equivalent. Previous experience leading relevant curriculum areas and managing the performance of teaching and support staff teams within an FE environment.
You will have a thorough up to date and extensive knowledge of current education drivers and initiatives.
