We now have a vacancy to join our amazing UWE Bristol Creative Strategy Team within Future Students, Communications and Marketing as a Senior Web Content Designer.

Our Web Content Design team are different from the norm. We are nimble. Creative. Responsive. Innovative. And you will be joining the team at an exciting time as we continue to transition from legacy systems to Sitecore, our content management system. As part of this process, we continue to lead the way in adopting user-centered development and agile methods as the University moves towards new ways of working and best practice principles.

About you: As our brand continues to grow, you’ll be at the heart of its evolution. The right candidate will have experience in:

  • Digital marketing campaign processes and thrive on the fast pace of this critical recruitment activity.
  • Analysing data, monitoring performance, and recommending content enhancements as part of your daily routine.
  • Placing users first whilst managing competing priorities between user and business needs. User-focused and user-centered content is the at the heart of what we do.
  • Understanding users and identifying what their needs are based on the evidence.
  • You are comfortable applying user testing techniques and evaluating quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Translating user stories and propose design approaches to meet these needs.
  • UX understanding, content design skills and prototyping. Taking stakeholders on a proposal journey that demonstrates appropriate methods for different audiences and purposes.
  • Understanding why content lifecycle management is important and applying a continuous improvement mindset to your work.

This is a full-time, permanent post, working 37 hours per week. This post is available on a job share basis for applicants wishing to work part time.

UWE Bristol is a campus-based University and it is important for our success and the delivery of an outstanding experience for our students that our campuses are dynamic and vibrant places to learn and spend time. This role is therefore campus based with some opportunity for remote/home working.
