About the team/job
MGnify is EMBL-EBI’s microbiome sequence data analysis resource, which performs the archiving, assembly and analysis of metagenomics data.
As the number and diversity of datasets continually grow, and as we expand the downstream analyses available in MGnify, the website and API endpoints concomitantly need to make these new data available. Alongside the website, the post-holder can expect to support and develop programmatic access tools like MG-Toolkit, MGnifyR, and the MGnify Notebook Server, as well as updating the guidance for their utility. Almost all of MGnify’s work is performed in open-source codebases.
