We have an opportunity for an Assistant Unit Manager to join our Clinical Trials Research Unit at the School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR). You will work closely with the Unit Manager to ensure high quality efficient administration and day to day management of the Sheffield Clinical Trials Research Unit. You will lead on providing a pre and post award grant development service and will have responsibility for ensuring excellent administrative and financial systems and processes are in place to support the unit’s programme of work. You will deputise for the Unit Manager where appropriate.
You will be educated to A-Level standard (or have equivalent experience) and will have experience of both pre and post award research grant administration, preferably in an academic institution. Strong team working skills are required, along with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
