Student Communications and Events Manager
Hours of Work: Full-time, permanent (35 hours per week)

Salary: The starting salary will be from £36,333 to £38,474 in Grade 7a depending on qualifications and experience
We are looking to recruit a Student Communications and Events Manager to lead, plan, develop and deliver targeted and impactful student events and student facing communications to a diverse student body. The successful candidate will manage the Student Communications team and report to the Head of Student Engagement and Communications. The role sits within the Student Support and Engagement Department and is key in enabling the University to achieve its student experience and engagement objectives.
The successful candidates will be enthusiastic, innovative, and versatile in their approach, demonstrating excellent communication skills and the ability to establish strong working relationships with external and internal stakeholders, including students and staff.
Applicants will need a university degree and experience in events and communications planning as well as in leading and coordinating the work of a team. Strong IT skills across a range of platforms is essential, as well as the ability to monitor and analyse data. Experience in working within Higher Education is desirable.
