An exciting opportunity is available for a researcher to join an established research team within the NIHR ARC Wessex, working in the area of Ageing and Dementia. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting interviews and focus groups as part of a new study looking at the use of digital health technology for people with neurological conditions. There will also be opportunities for data analysis, authoring academic papers and assisting on future grant applications. 

Applicants will have a relevant PhD, be working towards a PhD or have equivalent research-related qualifications. They will have experience of qualitative research. Experience of quantitative or mixed methods research, experience of research in the area of digital health technology, and experience of writing academic papers would be beneficial. Successful applicants will have demonstrated their ability to work independently and efficiently in a research context. 

The post is fixed term for 10 months initially, with potential to extend (subject to funding), and will be offered at 0.4FTE from June 2023. Flexible working or job share will be considered.

*Applications will be considered from candidates who are working towards or nearing completion of a relevant PhD qualification.  The title of Research Fellow will be applied upon completion of PhD.  Prior to the qualification being awarded the title of Senior Research Assistant will be given.
