About the Department:
The Department of Learning and Teaching Enhancement is part of the Library, Learning, Research and Enterprise Directorate. The department is responsible for the Enhancement of Learning and Teaching through the application of pedagogy and the development of an effective learning environment. As part of this, the Learning Technology and Design division has the operation of key services including, but not exclusively, the Virtual Learning Environment that supports Blended Learning initiatives, ongoing curriculum reviews and the student learning centre. The Learning Technologist are pivotal in supporting the development and pedagogical enhancement across SOAS using all of the tools in the learning and teaching toolkit.
The department is comprised of experienced Educational Developers and Learning Design Technologists with a wealth of experience in academic teaching and learning technologies.
About the Role
Working as a member of the Learning Technology and Design team, this role will provide technical support to all School users in using the university’s digital learning platforms as effectively as possible. The role will operate within the School while maintaining close links with the Academic Development Team.
