Ca’ Foscari is looking for a researcher of Experimental Physics capable of inspiring students to become game-changers in their own fields and to make a genuine difference in the world.
The researcher will teach in courses of the Department, mainly in the Bachelor’s degree program “Ingegneria Fisica” and the Master’s degree program in Engineering Physics, for no less than 60 hours a year.
In particular, the researcher will conduct the following courses:
The assigned courses could be changed in accordance with the annual plan for teaching activities approved by the Department.
The activity of research will be focused on the physical fundamentals of experimental researches on materials, including synthesis of innovative materials and/or their structural and functional characterization. Scientific expertise will be oriented toward technology transfer. These topics are part of areas of research compatible with the guidelines of the strategic plan of the University and the development plan of the Department of Molecular Sciences and Nanosystems.
The position is at the Department of Molecular Sciences and Nanosystems. The Department aims to stimulate research development and scientific education and is characterized by its research in innovative fields. The Department also interacts with local manufacturing firms and businesses, given the importance of its research on sustainability themes. The education focuses on both established research areas and more innovative ones like renewable energy sources, green chemistry, nanotechnologies and biotechnologies.
The educational pathways offered by the Department are designed to implement the strong interaction between the university and the job market, using a blend of traditional methods and new Lifelong Learning projects (LLP).
