Based at Francis Close Hall Campus, Cheltenham
The School of Education and Humanities at University of Gloucestershire is seeking to fill a Lecturer in Education with English Language Coordination post available at Grade 7.
The Education subject community provides the University’s English language coordination (including International student support, English Language testing, in-sessional classes and pre-sessional English). The successful candidate for this post will be able to fully support this programme as well as being able to teach across a range of undergraduate and /or postgraduate course provision within the Education subject community. A willingness and ability to contribute to a range of courses in the Education subject community portfolio (relative to expertise) would be desirable.
The post-holder will be an engaging and innovative lecturer who shares our student-centred approach, is ready to offer a high standard of support and is keen to make a positive contribution to the student experience and employability.
Applicants should offer a research portfolio commensurate with career stage and trajectory. They should also be able to outline a clear personal plan to develop either a programme of research and/or a programme of scholarly activity.
