At Teesside University, we are ambitious in our goals, vision and aspirations. We challenge expectations and push the boundaries of what is possible. From transforming our campus through a £300m investment and capital development programme, to creating outstanding, innovative academic programmes, our work is always relevant and purpose-driven.
We believe that innovation powers our steps and are motivated to make a difference through positive social impact. We work in partnership with individuals and businesses to devise creative solutions not limited by imagination. We work at pace, and are always future-facing, with our teaching, learning and research focused on addressing the challenges of tomorrow, today. We do not stand still.
The School of Computing, Engineering and Digital Technologies enjoys an excellent reputation for innovation and our teaching staff combine academic excellence, world class research and industrial experience. It offers a diverse range of accredited undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and delivers a number of active research projects in these areas.
The School is growing its Academic staff base and seeking a new computing member of staff with significant experience in a related discipline(s) [ computer science, machine learning, data science, software engineering, cyber security or artificial intelligence] to contribute to teaching, knowledge exchange, enterprise and business engagement activities.
You will be required to contribute to the design, delivery, assessment and quality assurance of the University’s programmes and modules at all levels. The ability to provide students with contemporary learning that is underpinned and informed by research, external stakeholders and current industry practice is also essential for this role.
