We have an opportunity to join our intermediate care nursing team at the Hospital for Small Animals. If you thrive on gold standard patient care, are detail oriented, and appreciate hands on nursing, this is the role for you.

We provide full training in all areas of the hospital, shadowing experienced staff while learning the ropes.

 The Opportunity:

We have recently expanded our ward space at the Hospital for Small Animals by opening a new state-of-the-art ward for patients requiring 24h hour monitoring. This new ward will accommodate those patients that need a little more involvement than the general ward patient, although are not deemed critical, as these patients are housed in our Intensive Care Unit.

You will work in a rotational “pod” of three RVNs, working in a 4 shifts on, 8 shifts off pattern. You will cover each other’s annual leave and accrue paid overtime for this additional shift cover.

At the HfSA, we are open to emergencies 24/7 and offer a friendly and supportive working atmosphere, with a strong tradition of research and innovation. We value our team of nurses highly, offering excellent education and development opportunities.
