Leeds Trinity University has embarked on the delivery of a strategic ambition to develop their range of policing programmes and research to support local, regional and national developments. As such, we have an exciting opportunity for you to be instrumental in developing our research and teaching, whilst providing innovation in developing the policing portfolio. Located within the growing School of Criminology, Investigations and Policing (CIP), this post will form part of a leadership group within the school.
Initially focusing on developing the research and teaching capability, the intention is to grow apprenticeship routes, postgraduate provision and CPD, co-created alongside a range of other policing curricula. This is an exciting time for Leeds Trinity University and this role will play a key part in the developments in our provision.
The role will require you to engage and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to develop programmes that aim to drive the widening participation agenda at Leeds Trinity University as we recognise and embrace the diversity of academic and life experiences that bring applicants into policing. You will work closely with stakeholders across the discipline, to develop the curricula, learning and teaching, and student support that ensures that our graduates become ambitious, competent, confident, compassionate and effective professionals.
You will have, or be willing to undertake, a recognised teaching qualification (i.e. PGCHEP/PGCAP) as well as Senior Fellowship of Advance HE. You will also have a PhD/Professional Doctorate and/or significant high-level professional experience in a related field.
