As part of our ongoing initiative to unlock innovation and growth while nurturing talent, we are currently recruiting a part-time Lecturer in Music to act as a key contributor to the academic team in the delivery of our undergraduate programme.
The position of Lecturer in Music will give you the opportunity to provide the support and education of students following practical pathways in performance.
This will draw on stylistics and histories of music in historical, contemporary classical, and popular music idioms, working with performers on a variety of instruments, including voice.
The role will allow you to use your experience of providing and developing teaching and learning in music in the higher education context (and track record of practical experience in performance more broadly) to confidently contribute to our vibrant and progressive teaching and learning culture and practice within the department.
You will be part of a team of academics and practitioners with diverse interests and experience, which will give you the chance to collaborate with a number of stakeholders, utilising your ability for cross-disciplinary working and general commitment to collaboration across the University and beyond.
