Our faculty members have extensive research and industrial experience in areas such as power electronics, machine and controls, IoT, 5G, and MRI. Several of our academics participate in the Provincial Key Laboratory of More Electric Aircraft, offering our students the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research-informed projects that push the boundaries of the field. About You 

We are seeking proactive and accomplished academics who possess a strong drive for results, adaptability, and creativity, and who have made internationally recognised intellectual contributions in their research areas. As an ideal candidate, you will have a recognised educational background that meets relevant standards, and have teaching experience, particularly in key technologies associated with your field. We would prefer experience in industry as well. 

Your primary responsibility will be to generate new intellectual insights and knowledge by applying existing knowledge and developing ideas for research and teaching outcomes. This will involve creating novel concepts and proposing ideas for innovative research and teaching development, as well as securing funding support for these initiatives. 

Moreover, we expect you to play a significant role in your academic unit by providing leadership, administrative management, and coordinating specific initiatives. Strong analytical skills and experience in setting and implementing strategic visions are essential for this position. Ultimately, we are seeking a candidate who can deliver exceptional teaching and scholarship and contribute to the advancement of their field. 

Your Remuneration, Benefits and Support

The successful candidate will be offered a five-year contract that may be extended by mutual agreement.
