We welcome applications for a Deputy Dean to join the School’s Senior Leadership Team and lead our diverse community of academics and students at the School of Psychology at the University of Roehampton.
This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in driving forward the school’s strategy with a focus on excellent education, outstanding Research & Knowledge Exchange and environmental and financial sustainability. This role is perfect for academic leaders who have expertise and experience in leading academic areas and managing resources including programme development and planning, workload allocations and programme viability.
The successful candidate will have line management experience and a track record of supporting people's professional development and career aspirations. They will oversee a number of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, and will be leading the School’s resource management procedures, task allocation and the delivery of the strategic growth plan. The post holder will adopt a student-centered mindset with a focus achieving the best student experience and outcomes. They will have an in depth understanding of the discipline and the sector to support evidence-based plans for sustainable practice and growth.
