Reporting to the VLE Implementation Manager you will work as part of a dedicated team that will focus on supporting the transition to Blackboard Learn Ultra across the entire institution. This transition offers opportunities to further enhance the delivery of digitally enhanced teaching across the entire University, enabling the institution to achieve its strategic ambition.
You will be able to offer flexible staff development opportunities across a wide range of disciplines. This will involve teaching digitally skilled staff effective instructional design consistent with the new platform and approach, to giving hands-on assistance and training to staff who are less confident with creating their own content. You will also work with faculty-level support teams to ensure sustainable practice across the institution. An important cornerstone of this work will be embedding Programme Level Approach (PLA) principles to the use of the VLE, within the wider context of educational development.
The successful candidate will have a pedagogical understanding and a track record of supporting excellence and innovation in learning and teaching or related areas.
