The University of Oxford’s Medical Sciences Division is offering a new opportunity to accelerate progress in improving research culture. This is an exciting role with varied and stimulating responsibilities to shape and deliver research culture initiatives that will deliver positive changes for our researchers and an outstanding research environment.

This new role will place you at the forefront of innovation and progress in this growing, high-priority area.

As the Research Culture Project Officer, you will have a crucial role in identifying and sharing good practice, collaborating to plan and deliver new programmes, and expanding our capacity to support practical initiatives to improve research culture across the Medical Sciences Division. You will work closely with colleagues in a wide range of roles in the Medical Sciences Divisional Office, Medical Sciences departments and beyond.

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders in a complex and distributed environment. Strong project management and organisational skills will also be essential for delivering a broad ranging and impactful research culture programme. You will be action oriented, collaborative, and passionate about building positive and equitable research cultures and supporting excellence in research.

This role also offers the opportunity for hybrid working.

This is a full-time post (or a minimum of 0.6 FTE will be considered), offered on a fixed-term basis for three years.
