Oxford Population Health (Nuffield Department of Population Health) contains world-renowned population health research groups and provides an excellent environment for multi-disciplinary research and teaching. The Clinical Trial Service Unit (CTSU) is a major international research institute within Oxford Population Health, and is one of the world’s leading centres for research into chronic diseases, especially heart disease, kidney disease and cancer.
We are seeking a Clinical Research Fellow to work within our established research team that aims to carry out research, which is both of the highest methodological quality and has the greatest possible influence, on treatments in diabetes and cardiovascular disease. The successful applicant will work on three major trials, namely ORION-4, ASCEND PLUS and AMALFI, assisting in the ongoing development of the trials, including developing and implementing trial procedures.
To be considered for this role you will be medically qualified, GMC registered with a valid licence to practice. You will also need a good grounding in clinical medicine (ideally MRCP or equivalent) and excellent communication and organisational skills.
The post is full time (although part time will be considered) and fixed term for 2 years in the first instance. The closing date for applications is noon on 8 June 2023.
