This transformation will require a fundamental shift in our ways of working and we are pleased to share an exciting opportunity within the DTS team for a passionate and energised Head of Solution Design.

In this role you will lead an established team, but also bring with you knowledge, expertise and appetite to drive forward maturity and capability within the function. This is a strategic role, establishing roadmaps and future direction whilst also leading/inspiring teams of Solution Designers, Solution Architects, Systems Analysts and Product Analysts. It is expected that the successful candidate will be passionate about Solution Design and Solution Architecture and be an experienced IT leader with a track record of managing high performing teams and achieving successful change in fast paced, enterprise digital environments. You will also have experience designing and implementing bespoke solutions, establishing standard processes and ways of working, operating in an agile delivery environment, with experience of cloud-based technologies, as well as managing internal stakeholders and external suppliers/partners.

At the University of Nottingham, we aim to give you all the support you need to nurture your talent, develop and reach your professional and personal career goals.
