The role will be held in the Division of Medical Education, School of Medical Sciences. The early phases of our programmes emphasise small group learning, reinforced with early clinical experience; later years emphasise learning through clinical placements in the NHS combined with university level study.
The successful applicant will be expected to actively contribute to the year management team to ensure the effective development and delivery of the Year. You will also collaborate with the Lead for Staff Development when required to ensure provision of tutors to deliver the taught components relevant to the delivery of the Year and work in partnership with the assessments team (and working closely with the Associate Lead for Assessment in Year 3), to provide high quality assessment content and supporting materials for the Year.
You will be expected to be a practicing physician with a primary medical qualification on the specialist register with evidence of leadership qualities and a track record of involvement in undergraduate or postgraduate medical education
