About the Role
We are seeking to appoint a Clinical Nurse Specialist / Genetic Counsellor with an interest in oncology and genetics to join the Women’s Precision Prevention team. You will be providing virtual counselling and genetic testing support for multi-centre research studies in genetic testing, risk prediction, and risk management. These studies involved genetic testing both in people with a cancer diagnosis and unaffected unselected individuals.
As part of a thriving research group, you will work alongside the study team which includes Clinical Research Fellows, Researchers (PhD students and Postdoctoral Fellows), Clinical Trial Managers and Data Programmers.

The Centre for Prevention, Detection and Diagnosis (CPDD) is at the national and international forefront of research into the prevention, detection and control of cancer. We have particularly active research programmes investigating prevention, screening, awareness and early diagnosis of a range of cancers including breast, ovary, cervical, colorectal, lung, pancreatic and prostate cancer, utilising a range of research methods.
