About the role
Applications are invited for an experienced dental nurse to join the Centre for Oral Clinical Research (COCR), within the Institute of Dentistry. Reporting to the Manager of the COCR and Senior Research Nurse, the post holder will be responsible for the recruitment of healthy volunteers and patients into specific clinical trials and research studies being run in the Centre. Duties will involve care and monitoring of patients, completion, and management of CRF’s, research data collection/entry and ensuring projects are carried out in accordance with the regulatory requirements, established protocols and applicable Standard Operating Procedures.
Candidates should be registered with the GDC. The successful applicant should have excellent computer and organizational skills also clinical experience from general or specialist practice or dental hospital.
The post is 0.6 FTE for 12 months. The starting salary will be Grade 4 Tech SP 28 £39,180 pro rata per annum, inclusive of London Allowance. Interviews will be held in October with a start date as soon as possible.
The post will be associated with the Institute of Dentistry’s Centre for Clinical Research that sits within the Centre for Oral Immunobiology and Regenerative Medicine and will be located within the Dental Institute at QMUL’s Whitechapel Campus in East London
