Harper Adams are looking to recruit a fixed-term, part-time (0.45 FTE) Mental Health Advisor. The Mental Health Advisor works with within the Wellbeing Team on a part-time basis to undertake individual and group mental health support with students.
The working pattern of this position is currently 24 hours per week in term time with some hours retained in each of the university vacation periods and some allocated time for training.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our multi-disciplinary team which currently consists of an Occupational Therapist, University Counsellor, and Wellbeing Advisor. The team offer specialist services as well as working proactively to address themes and concerns within the student population through organised campaigns, events, training, and workshop delivery.
The successful candidates will ideally be a Registered Mental Health Nurse or have vast experience in a relevant similar post.
Our service offers a range of individual face-to-face or virtual appointments and pro-active group sessions, and we primarily working on campus with occasional home working.
