We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Strength and Conditioning Coach to deliver an excellent service to teams and athletes who are selected to be part of the University of Oxford’s high-performance sport support service.
The Strength and Conditioning Coach will be responsible for planning, designing, delivering and reviewing strength and conditioning programmes, underpinned by sound scientific knowledge, for teams and individual athletes. As part of this role, you will work alongside colleagues in the sport and physical activity team and specialists from other areas of sports science to successfully provide a holistic athletic development service to Oxford’s student athletes.
Working as part of the Sports Federation team, you will provide the highest level of service to selected University sports teams and individual students through the Blues Performance Scheme (BPS), the University’s high-performance sport support service. Support offered through the BPS incorporates strength and conditioning, sport psychology, sports nutrition and subsidised physiotherapy; with other administrative assistance being provided by the wider Sports Federation team.
You will have experience of designing and delivering strength and conditioning programmes for performance teams and individual athletes. It is desirable that you will also be a UKSCA Accredited Strength & Conditioning Coach (or be working towards this with the ability to achieve within 6 months).
This is a full-time fixed term post until 31 July 2025.
If you have any queries or would like to arrange an informal discussion regarding the role, please contact Tiahan Eeles (Head Strength and Conditioning Coach) via email: tiahan.eeles@sport.ox.ac.uk.

Only applications received before 12:00 noon on Monday 16th October 2023 will be considered.
