Job description:
The Role
The purpose of this new post within the School of Psychology is to contribute to the development of an exciting new pathway in the Psychology of Ageing. Newcastle University is a global leader in ageing research addressing a spectrum of age-related challenges, working in partnership with the NHIP Academy, the flagship of the Newcastle Health Innovation Partners programme NHIP Academy - Newcastle Health Innovation Partners, but has had little input from psychology thus far.
We are interested in applicants from diverse backgrounds in Psychology (e.g., Neuropsychology, Cognition, Perception) who have experience in and straddle the boundaries between clinical, teaching, and research areas related to ageing. The post holder will be expected to contribute to teaching and supervision at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. They will also connect with relevant research themes and units outside the School of Psychology.
