The School of Science and Engineering has an international reputation for excellent teaching and topical research, particularly in addressing global challenges in energy, the environment, health care, technology, forensic science and infrastructure.
With its award winning Centre for Anatomy and Human Identification (CAHID), and departments in engineering, computing, physics and mathematics, the School offers a portfolio of disciplines and curriculums and state of the art facilities which prepare and inform the scientists and engineers of tomorrow. The discipline of Physics within the School of Science and Engineering is looking for two candidates with strong and developing track records in research and teaching. Candidates should have a clear plan that articulates with and enhances our existing activities, in particular our BSc and MSci Programmes in Physics with Renewable Energy Science (the first of their kind in the UK) and the University of Dundee’s Binks Sustainability Institute (www.dundee.ac.uk/stories/university-establish-new-binks-sustainability-institute).
