Eligibility: Home UK / EU Settled or Pre-Settled status / International
Fees: Tuition fees are waived
Start date: January 2024
Project Description
The School of Engineering, Computing and Mathematics at Oxford Brookes University is seeking an independent and highly motivated candidate from a science or technology discipline to work on machine learning of medical data.
The project is a collaboration between the School of Engineering, Computing and Mathematics at Oxford Brookes, and Nuffield Department of Women’s and Reproductive Health, University of Oxford. An excellent candidate is expected to develop a robust diagnostic analysis for myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome using innovative machine learning. Criticality Analysis and Deep Learning methods should be used to analyse whole cell Raman Spectroscopy data to determine the metabolic changes during disease progression.
