The University of Bradford's Nursery provision is seeking a highly experienced Early Years Practitioner with a minimum full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare. The candidate must have experience of caring for children in a Nursery setting between the ages of birth to 5 years and must be able to demonstrate they have the relevant practical knowledge required for the post as detailed in the Job Description.
We are looking for a start date of the 09/10/2023 or as close to this as possible.
The successful candidate will be required to follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework, Ofsted and Local Authority care standards while planning for individual children's needs. You will ensure nursery and safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times, and that children are well cared for, nurtured and kept safe always.
Candidates must have good observational and in the moment planning skills, as well as an organised but flexible approach with a professional attitude. We are looking for pro-active team players with excellent literacy and communication skills. You will need to show a willingness to learn and be able to take direction from colleagues. You will be responsible for a key group and should have experience within this area, being able to effectively manage your own time and workload efficiently.
