Edinburgh College of Art wish to appoint a Research Associate to conduct a risk-based review of generative AI and journalism and map policy implications.
The Opportunity:
The post-holder will take a leading role in the research co-ordination, analysis and reporting of this work, led by Dr Bronwyn Jones at the University of Edinburgh. You should hold a PhD (or be near completion) in a demonstrably cognate discipline, such as social science, or law and policy. We would also welcome applications from researchers from other disciplines (including Engineering or Computer Science), who can demonstrate appropriate experience. We also strongly encourage applicants with prior work experience in a journalism or policy context. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and capable professional, with experience of working within the University environment, and with external partners.
