The Department of Land Economy is recruiting for an Assistant Professor in Real Estate Finance. The Assistant Professor will be expected to undertake research primarily in real estate finance, preferably with a focus on commercial property markets and investments; to identify sources of funding for such research and to build on and expand our network of contacts working in those areas; to teach on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in areas related to their expertise; and to make a general contribution to the running and management of the Department.
The Department of Land Economy is a leader in its field. In the 2021 Research Excellence Framework assessment, 67% of the Department's research was found to be "World Leading" and a further 31% "Internationally Excellent", making it the top Department in the field in the UK in Times Higher Education's ranking.
