In the role of Curriculum Area Manager (CAM) in Science your focus will be leading the curriculum area in delivering an overall student experience that promotes the College values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence.
Your key responsibilities will be driving excellence in teaching and assessment, motivating staff to ensure continuous improvement and contributing to the delivery of College strategic goals.
Ideally, you’ll already be an experienced and resilient leader of a curriculum team in a college, school or other educational setting, and you’ll have demonstrable experience in coordinating staff effectively. It’s important that you’re able to communicate easily with a wide range of stakeholders, engage with young people and demonstrate commitment to your own professional and personal development. The science area has a thriving Study Programme, Access, Adult and Apprenticeship so experience of each of these funding streams would be advantageous.
