About the role
The Institute of Education at the University of Derby is recruiting for a Senior Lecturer to take up a role that consists mainly of research in Education. This is an opportunity to both take leadership on existing research projects and to develop your independent research. The Institute of Education is Vibrant, Collegiate, and Ambitious to take our excellent research in new directions. Our research focus is underpinned by a commitment to social justice. We have five research clusters in the areas of Childhood, Inclusion and SEND, Teacher Education, Race Equality, and Vocational Education.
We welcome applications from researchers with interests and experience in these areas, though are open to new directions for research.
We are looking for researchers with significant experience of delivering research projects, making funding applications, and supporting colleagues. We expect the successful candidate to contribute to REF through their publications, impact work and environmental contribution. Experience of teaching in HE is also important.
